Privacy Policy

This page explains how Planian Poll handles personal data and relies on external service providers.

Last updated: 2026-03-21

1. Data we collect

  • Admin account email and authentication data
  • Request title, date range, and participant names
  • Responder name and selected dates
  • Browser-stored management-link access data and minimal security identifiers for guest requests
  • Minimal access logs for operations and issue investigation

2. Why we use it

  • Creating requests and collecting responses
  • Showing response rate, pending people, and the final schedule
  • Handling issues and improving service quality

3. Retention and cleanup

  • Request and response data are kept only while they are needed to operate, review, and export the request.
  • When a deletion request is received, data is cleaned up or anonymized after control of the request is verified, except for the minimum operational records we still need.
  • Minimal logs and security review records are retained only for a limited period to investigate abuse and incidents.

4. How deletion requests work

  • Workspace users can request deletion from the email address tied to the account.
  • Guest-mode requests are processed only after we verify control of the protected management link.
  • Deletion requests are handled after confirmation and may leave a minimal operational record while the request is being completed.

5. External services

We currently use Firebase for authentication and data storage. Depending on how the service is operated, we may add external services for ads, sponsor placements, or sale item handling, and this policy will be updated accordingly.
